I’ve constructed this internet site in order to provide legal information to foreign solicitors, attorneys and other lawyers, mainly about the rules of private international law of the European Union, which rules govern matters of jurisdiction and conflicts of law between EU Member States. I'm also the editor of the website Dutch Civil Law, providing information in English regarding the civil law of the Netherlands, including Dutch international private law.
